Burke Acres is a Kalamazoo neighborhood that was formerly a family farm owned by John Burke, later converted into the Burke Acres housing development in 1923. This neighborhood, mostly comprising of single-family homes built in the 1950s and 60s, is surrounded by parks, lakes, and the Kalamazoo River.

Sitting on the northeastern edge of Kalamazoo, Burke Acres is in close proximity to the Gull Road cooridor and Downtown Kalamazoo. Many landmarks, including Spring Valley Park, Kindleberger Park, and the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail, encompass the Burke Acres neighborhood, making it a great location for nature lovers while being a stone's throw from city centers.
